LeBron Steal and Dunk

This season has become an epic one for the Charlotte Bobcats. With a 104-84 loss tonight at home to the New York Knicks, the Bobcats are now the worst team in NBA history.

This loss put Charlotte at 7-59. The Bobcats finished the season with a .106 winning percentage. That's worse than the 72-73 Sixers that finished 9-73, a .123 winning percentage.

The Bobcats needed a win tonight in order to avoid becoming the worst team in NBA history. I expected for them to put forth their best effort on the court tonight in order to avoid the embarassment. To top it all off, Baron Davis, Carmelo Anthony, and Tyson Chandler did not even play in the game because the Knicks were resting them for the playoffs. Nevertheless, the Bobcats laid an egg in the second half.

The Bobcats are owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan. I see this feat as being a direct effect of reaping what was sown. Since he was a jerk to so many people for so long, the bad results were eventually going to come back upon him. Seven wins in an entire season is executed justice for the Bobcats. They will continue to be horrible while he is the owner. The town should request that he sells the team.
