IPL Cricket 2012 (April 25): Updated Points Table -- Viru blasted to stay on top

PUNE, India (Wed, Apr 25) – Indian Premier League (IPL 2012) is almost at half line and top teams are establishing their supremacy being firm on top, like Delhi Daredevils (DD), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

On 21st day of the ongoing T20 tournament two matches were scheduled but second match was abandoned due to rain and the points are distributed between KKR and Deccan Chargers (DC). KKR moved to second spot on the points table; while DC were fortunate to get their first point of this season after playing six matches.

Delhi Daredevils (DD) have maintained their top slot on points table with yet another comprehensive win over Dada’s Pune Warriors India (PWI) by 8 wickets. Delhi’s skipper Virender Sehwag (Viru) blasted his way to an unbeaten 87(48) to lead his team for a thrashing victory over with 4 overs to spare.

Pune has slipped to number four spot following Rajasthan Royals (RR) on third. Complete team positions and updated points table are presented above.
