Heart Attack Grill, the famous Las Vegas restaurant, has the theme of a hospital and the food served there is said to cause heart attacks because it is full of fats and calories. The claim was proven true for the second time when a woman eating at the restaurant suffered health problems. A person had a similar case a couple of months before as well. In the recent case, the woman was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Details of her condition and what exactly happened to her have not yet been disclosed. According to restaurant owner Jon Basso, she collapsed and became unconscious while eating at the restaurant. He wished her a quick recovery and clarified in his statement that she was fully aware of the health risks when she chose to eat there.
The restaurant often receives criticism for serving extremely unhealthy food. The owner, in response to criticisms, has said that he has not kept anything hidden in his business. He warns the customers about what can happen to them if they opt to take their meals at Heart Attack Grill. In fact, the titles given to the meals are self explanatory.
The woman who suffered a health disorder was above forty. Although the case has alarmed people, the popularity of the place has not suffered from this and the earlier similar incident. People are still eating the unhealthy food there.
The trend of fast food consumption has not reduced in general, even after awareness campaigns launched by various organizations. However, this kind of extreme behavior is not seen in the majority. People who are risk takers and extraordinarily careless about their health are the ones eating at Heart Attack Grill.
The restaurant owner claims that the business is running successfully and such unfortunate incidents are not causing any loss to their profits. They are not concerned about their reputation after these incidents because everything is clearly told in advance and therefore the visitor cannot complain to the owner. The authorities might take it seriously, but nothing has come up so far. It is assumed that people who are health conscious would not even enter the place and therefore no legal issues would arise.
