The Heart Attack Grill is known for serving heart attack-inducing food. The restaurant lived up to its standards again as a customer fell sick while eating there yesterday.
The Heart Attack Grill is making headlines again, and it is for again having lived up to its reputation of serving heart attack-inducing food. The Heart Attack Grill is located in Las Vegas. The restaurant offers food with so much fat and calories that it can actually cause harm to your health.
The owner of Heart Attack Grill, Jon Basso, said on Monday that he wished the customer, who fell sick at the restaurant, a speedy recovery. However, he did add that the woman who fell sick was actually asking for what came her way because she was eating, drinking and smoking incessantly.
“We attract an avant-garde clientele — thrill seekers, risk takers,” he told the Los Angeles Times, adding that his restaurant is a “bad for you but fun” restaurant that “attracts people who don’t really take good care of their health.”
According to the details provided, the woman came to the restaurant during the day time. The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, had been eating, drinking, smoking, laughing and dancing before she suffered that attack. Basso maintained that it was not the restaurant's fault that the woman fell ill. He further said that when you treat your body like the way that woman was treating hers, you are bound to get ill.
When the woman fell unconscious, paramedics were immediately called to the scene and they wheeled her out of the restaurant on a stretcher. She was then taken to the hospital and her condition still remains undisclosed.
Heart Attack Grill is a hospital-themed restaurant, which serves excessively caloric and fatty foods. The waitresses at the restaurant are dressed as nurses, wearing tight-fitting uniforms, whereas the owner, Jon Basso, is dressed as a doctor and calls himself a "burgerologist."
Everywhere around the restaurant, warning signs are erected, warning the customers about the potential health hazards of eating the meals offered at Heart Attack Grill.
This is the second time this year that a customer has suffered health problems while eating at the restaurant. In February, a man had to be taken to the hospital from Heart Attack Grill after he suffered a heart attack at the restaurant.
