Possible Blood Stain Found in Etan Patz Search

The Search for Etan Patz ended today, but no human remains were found. The FBI ended further investigations after they started searching the basement of Othniel Miller (75) by ripping up the basement's concrete floor on Thursday.

Etan Patz disappeared in 1979, because he wanted to walk to his school bus and was reportedly abducted. The Boy is missing since May 25. Later that year, a photo of Etan appeared on milk cartons and raised nationwide attention.

In the early 1980s, The NYPD arrested a man called Jose Ramos, a pedophile who knew Etan's babysitter. After he was arrested, Investigators found no evidence linking Ramos to the the disappearance. Ramos is currently serving a 20 year prison term.

The Case was reopened in 2010 when Authorities noticed that MIller had a newly cemented concrete floor in his basement and Investigators found a stain on one of the Walls in his basement. Miller lived less than a block away from Etan's Family.
