Giuliana and Bill Rancic are finally going to have a baby!

Reality stars Guiliana and Bill Rancic are finally going to have a baby as one of their gestational carriers has become pregnant

Last year was a tough one for Giuliana Rancic, as she battled with breast cancer and while trying to bring a new life to this world, she discovered that her life was in danger. Giuliana is married to Bill Rancic and both of them star in a reality show called ' Giuliana and Bill' which airs on E! Giuliana had been trying to get pregnant for a long time but her efforts were not bearing fruits. Then in October of 2011, while she was undergoing fertility treatment, she discovered that she had breast cancer and she had to stop her treatment at once. She then started chemotherapy and even underwent double mastectomy to get rid of her cancer and thankfully the treatments worked.

However, the cancer also meant that she will not be able to have babies for a long time now and after hearing the news both Giuliana and Bill were pretty disappointed.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel and that was proved when good news came in for the couple that they will be becoming parents after all. They learnt that one of the embryos that they banked has resulted in a pregnancy and that they will be becoming parents soon. The pregnancy will be taking place by a method known as gestational carrier. In this method, the egg and sperm belongs to Giuliana and Bill but the entire pregnancy will be taking place in another woman's body. This means that the gestational carrier brings the baby to term but is not genetically related to the child which is developing in her womb.

To deliver the good news to the world, Giuliana Rancic appeared on the TODAY show along with her husband Bill. "It was pretty much one of the best moments of my life, if not the best moment of my life," Giuliana told Ann Curry about the pregnancy according to a report by Todayentertainment.com. It was just another world, on another level."

Giuliana also told Ann Curry that her baby's carrier, whom she calls 'my baby mama', lives out of the state and they often visit her. She said that she is keeping the identity of the mother as a secret so that she does not come under any sort of stress during her pregnancy. Giuliana and Bill also revealed that they know the sex of the child, but said that they will be keeping it a secret as well.
