GOP presidential candidate nominee Mitt Romney has a distinctive arrogance to President Barack Obama – “Start Packing”. It was presented in different perspectives of several authors. For the purpose of this story just allow this writer to take three point of views on the matter.
According to Russell Goldman, Romney Tells Obama to ‘Start Packing’ in ABC News Exclusive Interview. “Acting very much like the GOP nominee, Mitt Romney sent a curt message to President Obama today: “Start packing” Goldman reported as quoted. In addition to packing, Mr. Romney said as quoted from Goldman, “The message, delivered with a chuckle, came in an exclusive interview with “World News” anchor Diane Sawyer who asked the presumptive GOP nominee if he had something to say to the president.” Furthermore, “Romney said Obama’s “policies have not helped the American people. They have not helped get jobs, they have not helped raise incomes and they’ve added trillions of dollars of debt” as quoted from Goldman.
In the first place, candidate Romney was not aware of the omen that devastated Obama in the U.S House of Representatives after the 2010 Mid Year election. American voters put the Republicans who mothballed Obama’s priorities. Secondly, Romney refused to acknowledge the improvements of the U.S. economy with the creation of new jobs since January of the current year. Thirdly, Romney became blind of all the accomplishments the Obama Administration has done.
The arrogance of Romney became more intense as his wife joined him to lambast Obama as Goldman reported, “He was backed by his wife of 43 years, Ann Romney, who told Sawyer she also had a message for Obama. “I believe it’s… Mitt’s time… It’s our turn now,” she said.
The Romney couple sounded very in a hurry to go to the White House. They claimed Obama’s time as their time. They have to wait until election will be over before shouting such.
In a tandem between Russell and Emily Friedman both said, Romney tells Obama to 'start packing' in interview with Diane Sawyer. Russell and Friedman said as quoted, “So confident in his march to this summer's convention in Tampa, Fla., Romney told Sawyer he had already taken steps toward selecting a running mate, relying on a long-trusted aide to head the search committee. "I have selected someone who has been a counselor of mine for a number of years, Beth Myers, she was my chief of staff when I was governor," he said.
At this point, it is observed that the arrogant attacks and lashings of Mr. and Mrs. Romney on President Obama were all premature because the former still has to secure party’s nomination as presidential candidate. In the first place out of delicadeza, Romney still cannot castigate and lambast Obama because he is not yet an official candidate. To observers, everything Romney does to attack Obama is utter arrogance and boastfulness. Romney sees Obama a lice, a pest who has not done anything good for America. Romney simply suffers blindness of Obama’s accomplishments.
Romney must be more than thankful toand who were plagued with the politics of dropping off the race at almost halfway of the campaign. Romney’s ease and confidence to unleash tirades against Obama and remains unconscious of underestimation of Ron Paul’s capability to wrestle the nomination out from him at convention time.
The third view of ‘Start Packing’ is presented by Alison Gendar in “GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney to President Obama: 'Start packing'”. Everyone is invited to take note of the figures Gendar presented in this view: 1} Romney entered the day buoyed by Gallup’s first tracking poll of the head-to-head matchup; 2} It found the former Massachusetts governor leading Obama 47% to 45%, 3}And Romney had the edge among the all-important independent voters, 45% to 39%, 4} But it wasn’t all good news for the all-but-certain Republican nominee A similar CNN/ORC poll had Obama ahead, 52% to 43% — underscoring the volatility of the race, 5}In that poll, the President led among independents, 48% to 43% and 6} Democrats were eager Monday to erode any traction Romney might have with swing voters.
It is very interesting that the initial figures elated Romney but the concluding percentages awakened him that Obama is worth opposing who can wage a good fight come November 06. When American voters falter to make Romney the next president of America will mean arrogance of Romney against 99% of America.
However, when American electorates will discern the altruism of Obama to serve and work hard for the common good of the American people will mean victory of the 99% over the 1%. It will be victory over the arrogance of Romney and the Americans he represents.
