Jessica Simpson tells fans she is still pregnant

Amid all the best wishes fashion mogul Jessica Simpson is receiving for welcoming her baby girl, she tells her fans on her Twitter account that she is still due for delivery.

The model-come-designer, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson, turned to her Twitter account to kill off rumor that her pregnancy was over and she had finally delivered her baby girl. "To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl...I'm still pregnant!! Don't believe what you read ladies and gents," Simpson shared.

A number of news sources hinted last week that Simpson had already delivered her baby. According to TMZ, it spotted Eric Johnson doing a coffee run for two, suggesting that Simpson was at the hospital for delivery. Later, Babble also shared similar hints.

All these rumors combined gave a false impression to her fans that she had already welcomed her little angel. But that doesn’t mean that Simpson is not eager to get done with it, especially when it comes to slipping back into her signature heels. "I can't wait for the day I can walk in heels again! My feet feel homesick!" she tweeted to her 4.9 million followers Tuesday.



Simpson has hardly ever been seen without her collection of platforms, stilettos and pumps. "I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'you’re gonna need to get out of those heels!'" she told Us Weekly after she made the news of her pregnancy public. "I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!"



She further told how hard it was to manage without them. "I can't wear heels anymore. I tried but it was too hard. Wearing heels is like a religion to me, so it's tough!"



While Simpson is still waiting for her bundle of joy, fans appear to be anxious to know what the “non traditional” name she has in mind for her baby girl. “It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary," Jessica told E Online. "Still, when people hear it, they'll know...why."
