As major sponsor for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London the McDonald's store will rise its biggest store at the venue and its succeeding Paralympics event.
The hamburger chain started as the sponsor during 1974 Montreal Olympics and they even sponsored the swimming staduim in Los Angeles.
The details for the project revealed as the world’s biggest McDonald’s will cover an area of 3,000 square meters or roughly the six of half an American football field. The store will be built of recyclable materials in keeping with the Olympics’ green ideals.
The seating capacity of the biggest store will be 1,500 for customers visiting the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics Games.They will open for six weeks during the London 2012 Olympic games with 2,000 working employees.
The 50,000 Big Macs are expected to be served for the duration of its operations and 180,000 servings of French Fries are projected to be sold at the world’s biggest McDonald’s store.
