Sexy is probably not the first word to come to mind when talking about a charitable organization, but that is what exactly The Supply Education Group is.

The Supply Education Group is a non-profit organization working to empower kids with an education they normally could not afford. While in the United States, we’re pushing for higher and higher education, there are many children in the world who cannot even access secondary school for lack of supplies let alone a building.

So what makes The Supply sexy? First is their website. The Supply’s website is clean, modern, and eye-catching. There is a lot of content there, from stories to YouTube videos. You can not only read their stories but also see their stories. There is no shortage of vivid and beautiful photography of the places they are making a difference in.

Speaking of videos, The Supply has awesome videos. They capture the hope and spirits of the children wanting to learn. It’s not some cookie cutter infomercial. Local students and teachers are speaking English directly into the camera, and you can, again, see the progress the organization is making. The Supply created a goal and promise, and you can track it all through their videos.

The Supply have effectively leveraged social media (Facebook, YouTube) to inspire high school and college students to create clubs, called chapters, within their respective schools and garner support and awareness. The chapters engage actively in creating their own video content, just like the original members of the organization.

The popular Internet celebrity comedian Kev Jumba is an advocate for The Supply and can be seen making guest appearances in Kenya, lending a hand and further raising awareness. Being funny is sexy enough, but a funny man who cares takes sexy to an entirely different level.

The Supply is a fantastic example of utilizing free resources to make a powerful impact on one of today’s many pressing issues. The organization makes real world issues relevant to a seemingly jaded youth obsessed with the Justin Biebers and Kim Kardashians of the world. No offense to Kim Kardashian, she is a very attractive lady, but The Supply is just so much sexier.
