Anthony Hopkins accepted the role to portray legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock. Now, we get to see what he will look like in the film.

The studio behind the film has just released our very first look at Hopkins in character. There is quite the resemblance. The film is based on the non-fiction book by Stephen Rebello. The film, originally called Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, dwells on the time Hitchcock was trying to make the classic Psycho.

The film Hitchcock also has a great cast. It also stars Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles and James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins, the lead in Psycho. Check out the photos of Hopkins in character above courtesy of People.
