It was a faceoff between a rhino and a camel and, the rhino that should have stood its ground accepted defeat and fled from the scene when chased by the camel as witnessed by a visitor to the Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire.
This interesting bit of news has appeared in Mailonline of 21st April 2012.
Paul Redmond, a Defense project manager of Bristol had gone to the Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire for a day out with his family and he chanced to witness an unbelievable scene.
It was a standoff between two diametrically opposite animals – one of those was a camel, known as the ship of the desert. The other was a rhinoceros, well known for its huge body, tough hide and horns that can kill.
Fortunately, Paul Redmond had his camera and he took a video of the complete face-off – the rhino had apparently strayed into the territory reserved for the camel and the camel did not approve of that.
Therefore, it literally chased the intruder out of sight.
