A team of Saudi doctors successfully separated two baby boys conjoined at the stomach in a seven-hour operation

The boy was admited in National Institute of Child Health, Karachi, Pakistan. A parasitic twin in his abdomen was the cause of the malformation.

Doctors at the National Institute of Child Health, Karachi, Pakistan successfully operated on baby born with six legs, because she had a twin parasite in its abdomen.

Parasitic twins are formed when twin embryos fail to separate completely. However, the odds of this happening is one in 100 000 births.
