So sad to see icons and musicians from my generation pass thru this "vail of tears"..but...so it goes?

Honey-sweet, slanged and down-south voice Levon Helm is with us no more. I grew up with the music of "The Band". From "Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks` thru to `The Last Waltz`...The Band spoke of the loss of community thru to the loss of humanity. Levon never gave up on that sense of community. From Cripple Creek..to Dixie`.

`Lang May Your Lum Reek Laddie

`For today....and forever`!
