The creator of “American Bandstand” and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” Dick Clark also dubbed as “the world’s oldest teenager” because of hid boyish looks died Wednesday morning. He was 82.

After he was admitted at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica Tuesday night for an outpatient procedure, he suffered a massive heart attack, his family said in a statement. They tried to revive him by resuscitation but were unsuccessful.

Clark, is survived with his son, Richard Augustus II, with first wife Barbara Mallery and two children, Duane and Cindy, with second wife Loretta Martin.
