Adam Hollioake issued an emotional appeal on Wednesday for the return of the England kit belonging to his dead brother Ben, which was stolen during a burglary at his parents’ home in Australia. Hollioake took to Twitter, the social networking website, to call for help in regaining the kit which included his England sweaters, helmets and bats as well as his blazer from his time playing for Surrey. Police in Perth, Western Australia, later recovered a small amount of the stolen property but Hollioake’s parents, John and Daria, were left distraught by the loss of such treasured possessions. Hollioake posted an angry message on Twitter at the end of a day of intense activity on the site, with appeals for the return of the kit issued by a string of current and former cricketers including England’s Stuart Broad and former England captain Michael Vaughan. Hollioake wrote: “Man I cant believe my parents got rolled last night. These slimy little reptilian ----------- took all my brothers England cricket gear. I need all my Facebook friends & twitter followers to trawl eBay & any other site where these little maggots might be tryin to sell his stuff. Lets make sure they have stolen a ticking time bomb.” reference: The Telegraph
