8th Annual Alive! Expo Atlanta

Atlanta’s 8th Annual Alive! Expo Atlanta will be held this year on April 28 and 29, 2012 at the Georgia World Congress Center, at Hall C4.

Attendees to the Alive! Expo who are interested in natural health will get the chance to meet with experts in the Natural Health field, listening to their lectures on natural health, watch interactive cooking demonstrations and meet with vendors to learn about their products.

For the General Admission ticket price of $10, attendees can enjoy a free Asthma Control Test, sponsored by the Asthma Express; free facials, free hand massage and free mini spa treatments by Aubrey Organics; a free reusable shopping bag from Publix, free product samples and natural and sustainable Alive! Expo Farmer’s Market demos (new for 2012!).

Additionally, with a VIP Admission ticket of $25, there will be natural and organic food sampling in the VIP area.

This year, Alive! Expo keynote speakers and presenters include holistic beauty expert and author Kat James, who will speak about “Global Transformation: An inside-out look at dramatic, body-wide transformation and people who’ve experienced it around the world,” Jordan Rubin, who will speak about “Live Beyond Organic – Transform your health by eating the foods your body craves” and Dr. Carmelita Fields and Kim Vaughn, FNP, who will speak about “Bio-available natural hormone replacement: living your life to the fullest.”

Cooking demonstrations will be conducted by Chef Jennifer Hill Booker, who is the owner of “Your Resident Gourmet, LLC,” Laura Grierson, Raw Food Chef/Kitchen Director at the Living Foods Institute: “How to heal and prevent all diseases,” and Chef Joshua Will with Chef Lisa Burkey, who are both from the South.

Author Eshe Faizah, “The Herb Lady” who is an Herbalist, Organic Master Gardener, Nutritional Counselor and Kinesiologist will be speaking on topics such as “5 Steps to Your Best Spring Detox!” giving tips for detoxification in different seasons, customized to your individual lifestyle.
