While Thai legislators were engaged in a debate on a controversial constitutional amendment, a graphic image of a naked woman in a provocative pose suddenly flashed across the big screen in Thailand’s parliament Wednesday causing the session to be temporarily halted, GMA News said.
The ‘image’ was flashed on parliament’s monitors as close-up shots of legislators were being shown addressing the House.
The session was temporarily stopped and the screens were turned off when MP Sanong Thepaksornnarong, from Thailand's Bhumjaithai Party, spotted the picture and brought it to the attention of the speaker of the House.
House speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont later learned from a parliament officer that the ‘image’ was beamed in from the outside by hackers.
Thai authorities have launched an investigation and were looking for those who were responsible.
