"The Coffin", the latest film from "Beautiful Boxer" director Ekachai Uekrongtham, opened as the No. 1 movie in Thailand last weekend. It topped the Hollywood action drama "Death Race".
Starring Hong Kong actress Karen Mok and Thai leading man Ananda Everingham, "The Coffin" is based on an actual Thai ritual of lying in coffins to get rid of bad luck.
