MUMBAI, India (Tue, Apr 17) – Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) have won their respective matches against Mumbai Indian (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) yesterday.

In the first match of the day 13 of ongoing IPL 2012, Rajasthan Royals (RR) outclassed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by comprehensive margin of 59 runs. Ajinkya Rahane (103* off 60 balls) played again a gem of an innings to bring the first century of IPL5 that helped his team pile up 195/2. In reply, RCB kept on losing the rhythm in between the innings by falling of wickets in regular intervals and ultimately fell short of 59 runs.

In the second match of the day, Delhi Daredevils (DD) completely outshone in-form Mumbai Indians (MI) thrashing them by 5 wickets. Superb bowling by the DD bowlers was remained the difference in the end as Shahbaz Nadeem, Ajit Agarkar, Morne Morkel and Umesh Yadav picked up 2 wickets each while Irfan Pathan grabbed one.

With this victory, Delhi has gone up to the top of the points table with 6 points and better net runs rate NRR) followed by Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors India (PWI); while Mumbai Indians are placed on number 4 with 3 wins from 5 games.
