Life after ad:tech SF -- ready for Singapore, London, Tokyo, New York?

ad:tech San Francisco has been over for more than a week but the tech landscape keeps changing.

Since the conference ended April 4, Sony announced a temporary shutdown of the Playstation Network, Samsung announced a new release date for its S3 Android smartphone and a new Nielsen report said global advertising spending rose 7.3 percent last year to $498 billion.

With the marketplace continuing to evolve, Internet advertisers and marketers are no doubt looking for the best ways to stay abreast of the latest happenings.

After the success of ad:tech San Francisco, industry players are already anticipating the five remaining ad:tech conferences planned this year.

Conferences are scheduled June 13 and 14 in Singapore, Sept. 19 and 20 in London, Oct. 30 and 31 in Tokyo and Nov. 7 and 8 in New York City. Exact dates have not been determined for this summer's ad:tech conference in Shanghai.

Organizers promise similar star-packed events bringing the latest informational and networking opportunities for marketing and technology professionals worldwide.

"For more than 10 years, ad:tech has provided media, marketing and technology professionals with the tools and techniques they need to succeed in a changing digital world," ad:tech says on its website.

"ad:tech’s globally respected roster of speakers, workshops and exhibitors continues to make it the preferred resource and destination for digital marketers everywhere."

Information about the conferences, such as how to register as a participant, is available at http://na.ad-tech.com.

June's conference in Singapore, at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, is scheduled to feature presentations by executives from 3M Co., Cisco Systems Inc, comScore, Kraft, The Times of India and Unilever.

"ad:tech is more than a conference," organizers say on their website. "It is a powerful community where the on-site networking is a starting point for lasting relationships. It also provides its members and the general public with a growing library of resources and online networking and learning opportunities."

Next year's ad:tech San Francisco is scheduled for April 9 and 10 at Moscone Center West.
