Baltimore Maryland. ESPN football insider reporter Adam Schefter reports former Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Lee Evans 31, who was released by the Ravens in March will sign a one year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday.
Evans played one season with the Baltimore Ravens after being traded from Buffalo to Baltimore for the Ravens fourth round draft pick during training camp last season.
Evans is best remembered in Baltimore for his infamous drop of a Jor Flacco pass in the American Football Conference (AFC) game against the New England Patriots when Patriots cornerback Sterling Moore stripped him of the football that would have given the Ravens the lead and possible win that would made the Ravens the AFC representative in the Super Bowl.
The Ravens lost that game versus the Patriots 23-20. Evans said "It was an opportunity for us to go to the Super Bowl and I let it go."
