Now, we see why Jacob wanted to leave. After twenty years of working, Laban never paid him any wages. Never work for nothing.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 3, 1, 4, 2, 8. (3) To follow the Holy Spirit, speak correctly. (1) Follow God so that you will not be swindled for your work. (4) To stay in God's Word, give. (2) To be delivered, give. (8) To have a new beginning in God, give.
