Would you still like to eat your empanadas after reading this? In northeastern Brazil city, three people- a man, his wife and mistress were reportedly arrested on Wednesday for alleged selling of empanadas made up of human flesh. (Eeeew?)

Jorge Beltrao Negromonte, 51, wife Isabel Cristina Pires, 51, and Jorge's mistress, Bruna Oliveira da Silva were suspected of killing at least two women, using their flesh as stuffed for making empanadas then sold it to their neighbors. They’ve also eaten some of their body parts before burying their remains in the backyard of the house, the NYDaily News reported.

Wesley Fernandes, police inspector in the city of Garanhuns told media that the trio, who confessed their sins are members of a sect that preached "the purification of the world and the reduction of its population." Reportedly, they lure their victims by promising them a nanny job. They were arrested after one of the women suspect used a credit card belonging to one of the victims.

According to a local newspaper Estado de S.Paulo, the 50-page book entitled "Revelations of a Schizophrenic" written by Mr. Negromonte explained that he hears voices and is obsessed with the killing of women. Fernandes said the three also planned to kill another woman, who lives in a nearby city.

The report suggests that neighbors were so enraged and burned the victims’ remains to the ground after being discovered by police.

This is an obvious cannibalism.
