The Prayer

There are various ways to communicate with God. The fact is that anybody that's someone with the Lord God almighty, has some form of dialogue with Him. The twelve steps in prayer are tips meant to help and improve your dialogue.

1) Become silent before God. (Matthew 6:6; Psalm 46:10; Isaiah 26:3-4)

2) Give Him your adoration. (Luke 11:2; Psalm 95:1-7)

3) Make confessions. (Psalm 51:1-7; 1 John 1:9; Mark 1:5)

4) Give thanks to the Lord for the things that He has done. (Psalm 51:14-19; 107:7; Hebrews 13:15)

5) Make intercession. It means to intercede, petition, or brood. (Isaiah 53:12; Philippians 4:6; 1 Timothy 2:1)

6) Ask for specific requests or petitions. (1 John 5:14-16; James 5:13-18)
