A Vietnamese businessman was the one who able to buy the smallest town in America.

Don Sammons open for auction for bidding for Buford, Wyoming having a lone population. The 38 year old businessman Pham Dinh Nguyen flew to United States for the first time just to buy the smallest town. He wins the bid of $900,000 and plans to sell his items from Vietnam. He runs a trade and distribution company named International Distribution Services in southern part of Ho Chi Minh City.

Many are lauding him for showing the world that Vietnam has moved far beyond war and poverty. Some Vietnamese businessmen are impressed and very proud for Nguyen on buying such town in America.
