Political parties demand transfer of political tehsildar Landikotal

Political parties and elders in a joint statement has demanded the forthwith transfer of the corrupt political tehsildar (PT) Landikotal. Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Landikotal organizer Abdul Razaq Shinwari in his statement has said that local political administration was not serious to resolve masses’ problems that are long standing. Tribesmen return from tehsil office disappointedly because their pending cases are not solved at the earliest, PTI leader said. He alleged that political tehsildar (PT) Landikotal Abdul Nabi was taking keen interest only in the appointments of his favourite personnel of Khasadar Force at various check posts. That is why PTI leader demanded his forthwith transfer saying he had completed his tenure here.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI ) Landikotal spokesman Akhter Ali Shinwari has also expressed disappointment in the similar words against PT Landikotal Abdul Nabi, demanding of the high ups to take notice of his malpractices and misuse of power. PT’s main focus is on the profitable check posts such as Michni, Torkham, Ziarai and Changai where the alleged PT Abdul Nabi has appointed his favourites to collect illicit money for him, which is also in the notice of the high ups,JI spokesman criticized. Akhter Ali Shinwari has further said in his statement that PT Landikotal was playing delaying tactics to prolong the dispute cases so that he could divert his attention to the income generation schemes and issues such as transfer and appointments of the KKF personnel from one check post to another. JI spokesman also criticized the PT Landikotal for his undemocratic and harsh behavior with the tribal elders who seek justice at his office.

Malik Ashraf Khan Zakha Khel, a tribal elder, has requested the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Masud Kausar and PA Khyber Motahir Zib to take notice of the illegal and untraditional interference of PT Landikotal Abdul Nabi in the jurisdiction of the tribal jirgas. Elders’Jirgas could not play independent and fair role owing to the unnecessary interruption of PT Landikotal because of his personal vendettas and interests, Malik Ashraf Zakha Khel alleged. PT Landikotal is bent upon sabotaging the peaceful environment of the area and disturbing the traditional trends, Ashraf complained.

Political Tehsildar Landikotal (PT) in a mobile message has said that he was God fearing and believes in the service of the public rather than to appease individuals.
