James, Chiara and Massimo Ferragamo, along with Vincent Ottomanelli, the President Ferragamo USA, welcomed their customers and New Yorkers to the Salvatore Ferragamo Fifth Avenue Flagship Reopening on April 12, 2012 in New York City.
The Ferragamo Fifth Avenue flagship has received a makeover including a new section for fine jewelry, which was launched by the Ferragamos last fall, as well as an entire room that treats guests to the brand’s history, featuring photographs with celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and pieces from its archival collections.
Ferragamo’s Fifth Avenue flagship, per Vincent Ottomanelli, is the label’s largest store and the location will be a base-line for the rest of their locations, used to inspire future renovations.
Attending were hair stylist and businessman Frederic Fekkai, Shirin Von Wulffen (in an orange dress), Lauren Remington Platt, Paul Ziff, Wendy Diamond, Sarah Reynolds in a cute striped suit, Beth Garrabrant (loved the violet purple jacket!), Margaret Luce in her goddess gown, James Ferragamo and Zani Gugelmann (wearing a strapless orange dress), Solange Knowles, also in a purple jacket, which she paired with sexy red Capri pants, and Fabiola Beracasa, who sported a lovely metallic jacket.
