DRC teachers union in congress from tomorrow

The third congress of the Teachers Union of the DRCongo (SYECO) will be held from April 11 to 13, 2012 in Kinshasa. This meeting will update the various legal texts governing the union in order to adapt them to current realities.

The preparatory committee for the congress which was set recorded several candidates for various positions for elections that will occur at all levels. Note that sixty delegates will participate in this meeting.

The new committee will seek to negotiate with the government to improve remuneration and working conditions of Congolese teacher.

The first two conferences were held respectively in 2001 and 2007
