Jacob David Hartley, 20, of Florida, addicted to a video games and he doesn't care that his son who was 3-weeks-old, crying because he needs to be feed or someone to take care of him.
Hartley who was at the middle of his gaming marathon irritated by his crying son so he took hold of the boy with both hands and shook him.
'Damn you Colton, please go to f***ing sleep’, he said, according to the boy’s mother Amber Newton.
Newton called police and told them that she took away her son away from his father at that point. And then Hartley did a break from Xbox gaming and went to work at Sam's Club.
When he returned home he resumed his game until 4 a.m. on Friday when he went to bed. Colton named of the baby woke hungry and Amber gave him to Hartley while preparing his bottle.
Hartley allegedly fell asleep holding baby Colton on his chest. About two hours later, Newton discovered her son "unresponsive and bleeding from his nose and mouth," according to police.
"The infant was transported to Bartow Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased," according to the sheriff's office statement.
Baby Colton died 7 a.m., at hospital from head injuries, which doctors said were consistent with being shaken.
Hartley also admitted shaking his son Thursday morning and another time about a week prior.
Hartley is charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child and aggravated child abuse and held at the Polk County Jail.
