Fans of Zac Efron, the dashing young actor appeared at the world premiere of The Lucky One at Event Cinemas in Westfield Bondi Junction on April 9, 2012 in Sydney, Australia.
Attired in his sharp charcoal grey suit with matching tie, Zac mixed it up with Director Scott Hicks and locals while the film prepares to hit cinemas on April 19 says a backdrop at the premiere.
Based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, with screenplay by writer Will Fetters, the romantic tale is about a US Marine “Logan” played by Efron, who travels to North Carolina after serving three tours in Iraq to look for the woman he believes was his good luck charm during the war.
The 101 minute Warner Brothers film also stars Blythe Danner as “Ellie” and Taylor Schilling in the leading role as “Beth,” who word has it beat actresses Abbie Cornish and Katie Cassidy in the casting!
If you’re confused why the American film would be holding its world premiere in Sydney, Australia, it’s because Director Hicks is a Ugandan born Australian, (who also lived in Kenya and England)!
Phhheww, I’m so glad other people too have confusing backgrounds and upbringings, but I’m in extraordinary company, nonetheless… Enjoy the slide show!
