Why Temper Is Bad ?





What is temper ? It is an adjective , synonymous to cantankerous , snarly , splenetic , surly , and waspish . What these words really mean ? It is perfectly natural to lose your temper sometimes , do you agree ? Well , many situations and circumstances in everyday life that triggers anger , irritability , and frustration that causes a man to lose his temper. Oftentimes , man finds it difficult to control emotions .When man feels overwhelmed by rage , muscles tense , heart rate increases , and breathing becomes difficult.



What causes a man's temper ? Stress , workloads , anxiety , financial responsibilities and unrealistic expectations of people are some of the reasons that triggers temper . It is bound to cause reaction when someone bullies you , humiliates or torments you. In this case , without any doubt , temper arises . When students disobey in class, when they do bad things in school, parents and teachers lose their temper. When you feel you are taken advantage of , you become easily provoked and enraged. Just like when your personal relationship with friends , special someone and family, trouble in professional life, is being hampered, then you need help. It is not good to see that people had a fear of you because of your temperamental nature. You need to control your temper . How to control or help yourself from temper ? Coping mechanisms like psychotherapy, anger management , communication skills, training or self control training are ways to control anger. These strategies will teach you to draw boundaries, take positive control of negative emotions and channel them more constructively. Why temper is bad ? It could create trouble to anything which is not in trouble .It could affect one's relationship and one's professional life . Just like what happened to a certain teacher in a secondary school.That day everything is well and good. The teacher has a lot of enthusiasm teaching the students about elements of poetry. In fact , there are jumbled letters given to each group and students are asked to identify the element and arrange the letters on the board. Students enjoy the game, but due to a short interruption of the officers of the SSG ( Supreme Student Government ) who are asked by the guidance counselor to collect toys and old books to be donated to the street children , temper arises. Why temper transpired ? These students keep on pointing who in the class collected it and prepared it for the SSG officers to collect it . This fact , makes the teacher angry, but what aggravated her to be more angry is that when some students become unruly trying to pull just anything in the class as a thing to be donated .One student, gets the tennis racket and runs away. The owner of the racket thought that her classmate who takes it will donate it .While watching this thing , the two are chasing each other , she reminds them to behave and calls their attention. But, these students are still unruly , thus to the teacher's temper she takes the tennis racket and upon thinking that it is old and distorted she hits it on the floor, the table and on the blackboard to let the students know that she is already mad.The owner keeps the tennis racket,when the teacher throw it on the ground. Hours after there are students who told the teacher that the owner of the tennis racket cries because the racket is destroyed . Now, it is found out that the student is not the real owner but just borrowed it from a cousin . Thus, what a cascading effect follows after that incident .The coach of the cousin, who was the real owner, confronted the teacher and told the teacher that it is a very expensive racket and she demands for a replacement of it as soon as possible. But the teacher, faced it in a calm manner , so the coach was pacified. Weeks passed, the parents are the ones who asked for a replacement of the racket or a cash to pay the damage. If , the teacher tries to control the temper , will she suffer paying for this racket? Is her professional life be affected? Since she is professional , she takes the consequence .Though it was not really clear that it was her who broke the racket or whether it is already damaged ,but since she has the capacity to pay,the persons involved take advantage of her.It is really bad when you have temper.



Aside from your professional life, which is at stake when you have temper, personal matters like of the heart, could also be harmed by temper.Like the lady that I knew , she has a very good relationship to her husband who is away, just for distance reason. Their intimacy and closeness to each other is beyond compare.In spite of the distance, love is in the air. They keep in touch everyday.Their relationship can be considered as perfect. One day, when they talked , the guy asked how was the day of the woman .Usually , every time she relates what happened to her on her day she would gladly relate it to her man. But this time she was not cheerful , so the guy dug some more of what really had happened .Stress from workloads and from the unrealistic expectations from people in the workplace , the woman stresses that what has been said is all that happened and nothing more.Upon stressing all this point to her man, what comes across to her lover was, she shouted to him.So,the issue is no longer about her day, it twisted to something critical which is shouting towards someone which hurts the other one.A tough discussion transpired , the woman raged in temper uttered unbecoming words, attacked her man, to the extent that it wounded the heart of her man.On the other hand, her man being wounded by the words that stabbed him that much, who was just calm from the very start, lost his temper too and it did cause a big fight .It almost cost them their relationship.

When you stop to imagine how these two people built

their relationship you realize, the sacrifices they have made for their love to grow, and how they nurture their love-------it is all about to be erased in the wink of an eye----because of temper. TEMPER CAN BE AND IS VERY EXPENSIVE. IS IT WORTH THE PRICE TO BE PAID?
