April 7, 2012: Not really. But, let’s start at the beginning.
If you read my limerick “I Thought It Was Funny And Good Too”, where I had rabbit for dinner on Easter and told my family it was the Easter bunny; that is a true story. Rabbit is quite good. For those who have never had it, it is similar to chicken breast. It was a bit sick of me to introduce little kids to rabbit on Easter. This became a family Easter tradition, to have the Easter bunny for dinner. It was until my son convinced me that a rabbit was nothing more than a giant rat. Revenge! And yes, it happened on Easter.
So, I came across this video, by Just For Laughs: Gags. Just For Laughs: Gags is a Canadian silent comedy and hidden camera reality television show. It began airing on CBC and The Comedy Network in Canada on December 26, 2002. It is produced by Wild Rover Productions and is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The show also airs on Telemundo in the United States, Multishow Channel in Brazil and occupies a summer prime time slot on SIC in Portugal.
The video is of a man who asks passers-by to take a picture of him with his bunny. When he puts the bunny down a pair of hunters happen by and supposedly shot the helpless bunny. The reaction of the unwary photographers is hilarious. I watched this video four times and it is still funny.
What do these two stories have in common? Now that I’m Finish (???), I don’t really know.
