Kim Kardashian talks about relationship with Kanye West on ‘Today’

After the blogosphere had gone abuzz with reports of Kim Kardashian’s romantic outing with Kanye West, the reality TV diva on Friday addressed the news of her dating the rapper on “The Today Show”.

"Kanye and I have been friends for years," Kim Kardashian said, according to People magazine. "You never know what the future holds."

After months of playing coy about their relationship, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally went out together in public. According to reports, the reality TV star and the rapper went to the movies Wednesday and later Kim spent the night at Kanye’s apartment.

Although she told British’s Cosmopolitan in a recent interview that dating was the last thing on her mind, apparently Kim Kardashian is ready for romance again.

The 31-year-old reality TV actress went out with 34-year-old Kanye West on a date to see Hollywood blockbuster “The Hunger Games” together Wednesday night, after which she spent the night at his apartment.

Kim was photographed the next morning wearing the same tank top, leather pants and black heels from the night before. She left Kanye’s apartment with sunglasses on and her head held down. Reportedly, the new couple had lunch together at NYC restaurant Serafina and went shopping at FAO Schwarz.

"It may have seemed platonic throughout the lunch, but he couldn't hide his affection for Kim at the end when they started to make their exit. He was obviously doting on her," an observer told PEOPLE magazine. "Kanye helped Kim put on her jacket when they got up to leave. He affectionately adjusted her collar and Kim's friend even said: 'Oh, you guys are so cute!'"

"Kim and Kanye have now just started dating," a source close to the couple told People magazine. The source added that the pair is intent on taking things slow for now in order to see how it goes.

Just a day earlier, Kanye West admitted his love for the gorgeous brunette in his new single, “Theraflu”. “The whole industry wanna f**k ya old chick/ Only n***a I got respect for is Wiz/ And I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim/ Around the same time she had fell in love with him,” he says in the new track.

Previously, Kim Kardashian dismissed rumors that she had been dating since her marriage with basketball star Kris Humphries fell apart after just 72 days. She recently told TV presenter Ryan Seacrest that she was focused on improving her work instead of looking for love again.

Now, as she is undergoing a divorce from Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian doesn’t need to keep her new relationship a secret anymore. According to reports, Kanye West even appeared on a few episodes of Kim Kardashian’s family reality show, “Keep up with the Kardashians”.
