What is the manifest unity of the Democrat Party in 2012 U.S. presidential election? It is a showcase of party’s strong and undivided leadership. It is allowing President Barack Obama to seek re-election unopposed within the party. It indicates magnanimity of high brass and ranking members of the party.

Henceforth, “Barack Obama launches his 2012 presidential election campaign” as Richard Adams said. Barack Obama’s official announcement of his 2012 presidential election campaign came via email, video and Twitter, Adams said further. This announcement is described as “is a million miles away from the traditional setting of a brass band on a stage decked with American flags”.

Yes, it is an announcement of a presidential re-election campaign that uses the latest development in Information and Communications Technology, the internet and its social networking media. In this launching of his campaign as Adams reported and herein quoted Obama said, “Today, we are filing papers to launch our 2012 campaign. We're doing this now because the politics we believe in does not start with expensive TV ads or extravaganzas, but with you – with people organizing block-by-block, talking to neighbors, co-workers, and friends.

And that kind of campaign takes time to build. So even though I'm focused on the job you elected me to do and the race may not reach full speed for a year or more, the work of laying the foundation for our campaign must start today”.

The launching of Obama’s re-election campaign goes with opening video to his supporters. The video does not portray a picture of Obama but it has voices of real Americans giving their responses to Obama. Examples: 1. "I don't agree with President Obama on everything," says Ed from North Carolina, "but I respect him." 2. "Alice from Michigan" makes clear:

President Obama is just one person. Plus, he's got a job. We're paying him to do a job so we can't say, hey, could you just take some time off to get us all energized? So, we've got to figure it out.

Well planned preparation is a hallmark for a successful campaign. Eighteen months before the 2012 election, the Obama camp has estimated its campaign to cost US$1Billion. This amount of money is expected to come with enthusiasms of supporters with their cash donations.

The official announcement of the Obama campaign allows Obama to start raising cash directly for the presidential contest. This gives Obama “an advantage over his Republican opponents, since he is almost certainly running unopposed for the Democratic ticket and so won't require a costly primary election” Adams finally said.

Presidential re-election candidate Obama blessed with certainty of being unopposed from within his party indeed, is a great indication of unity in the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party shows the meaning and example of party unity to offer a difference to the American voters. Obama is the focus and rallying point of his party during 2012 U.S presidential election.
