The New York Jets have chosen to take full innovation in the Nike Elite 51 Uniform including Flywire technology to reduce weight and provide a lockdown fit over the pads. Keeping with their traditional design aesthetic, the uniform has a slight adjustment on the arm stripes creating a horizontal orientation to the field of play. The Nike Elite 51 uniform is completely engineered from the inside out, focusing on creating a system where the baselayer, padding, jersey and pant work in concert. A few of the new innovations include increasing sleeve articulation for better range of motion and integrating new four-way stretch fabrication to provide a streamlined shrink-wrap fit.
With the new acquisition of Tim Tebow, some Jets' fans are already excited about the new Jets uniforms that they parade on the openning day. The new Nike jersey should add the performance of the player as among the qualities is the streamlined fit that will help prevent holding on the field. The material is also supposed to be lighter and cooler, above all wins games for the Jets fans.
