If you don't live under a rock, then you have heard of John 3:16.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
This verse states that God sent his Son,, to die on the Cross for our sin and that whoever continues to believe in Him would have eternal life.
However, let's look at this from a mathematical perspective. After you read this, you will probably think that this simple idea is rather corny. If you take the number of the chapter (3) and divide it into the number of the verse (16), then you get .1875. Knock the five off and you get .187.
The 187 is the terminology used for murder. That means that He was murdered for you. See, I told you it was corny.
