On quarter, the rescue workers belonging to the Russian state of emergency on Sakhalin Island to rescue 675 fishermen werestranded on an iceberg.

Representative bodies say they have received emergency information that an iceberg floating out to sea and hundreds offishermen Okhotsk in on it. The ice has gone out to sea about 500 meters before being stranded.

Just over six hours later, all were rescued. Their health are stable and none required medical treatment. About half of those rescuedwere taken ashore by helicopter, the rest go by train.

One of those who have survived, Vladimir Vasilenko said: "The wind blows out from the shore so we should be aware that there will be about. However, monitoring radio talk show today is thelast chance to go fishing, so we went all ".
