The “LINSANITY” fever might be off for this season as Jeremy Lin will undergo a knee surgery.
Lin's absence was felt last night when the Knicks lost to the Indiana Pacers after being up 17 points in the 3rd quarter.
The news that Lin will be out of the line-up because of knee problems is a disappointment to Knick fans, but they are still hoping their idol still can play for this season. In the game against Detroit last Saturday, Lin left the game early. He felt the pain wouldn't subside, and after more tests it was determined that surgery is necessary.
Jeremy Lin said,” I can’t really do much. Can’t really cut or jump, so it’s pretty clear that I won’t be able to help the team unless I get this fixed right now. It’s disappointing for me, it’s hard to watch the games and I think I’d want to be out there obviously more than anything right now. But hopefully, it’s a six-week rehab process but I tend to heal fast, so hopefully I can come back as soon as possible and still contribute this season.”
