This exquisite rocking horse features hand-carved wildebeest sitting on an aged grey oak stand. Handmade by skilled craftspeople at the workshop in Kent, this rocking zebra pays tribute to the childhood of Stevenson Brothers owners Marc and Tony who grew up in Kenya and are keen to support the work of the Vipingo Village Fund.

The Vipingo Village Fund, a registered UK charity, has built and maintains The Future Hope Montessori School in Vipingo which provides every child with a safe environment in which to learn, play and eat. The school provides two meals per day to all 120 students as well as education and vital health care.

All students are affected in some way by the AIDS epidemic, either orphaned, caring for family members or infected with the virus themselves.All studentslive in abject poverty. Outside of school term time, the school provides a holiday club to continue to offer a safe haven, food and fun 365 days a year.

The Vipingo Village Fund also manages community projects and conservation projects on the Vipingo Coast in Kenya. Conservation projects include a marine conservation and turtle watch program while community projects include a sewing co-operative, chicken co-operative and a market garden.
