This week on “Q’Viva” the artists arrive at their new home to begin working on the Las Vegas show. Marc took the group on a tour of the grounds…but not all of them would be staying; Jennifer, Marc, and Jamie had more cuts to make.

While many of the performers were teaming up to work with each other, Bombi – the sole representative of the Columbian group Son Bata – has decided that staying is not for him; he no longer feels that he is Bombi and is returning home to Columbia.

Macr had a big surprise for the performers…Blackberry playbooks and phones.

It’s midnight, but no one is sleeping, they have all found places to rehearse. But while practicing, Marta was injured.

This is the first time the performers have been away from home and some of them are finding it very hard to deal with and some are even breaking down.

Marc and Jamie made a visit to the Q’Viva compund to check on the progess of the performers; Jennifer is with the Idol crew for auditions.

Over the next several hours the guys watched as all of the groups performed again before making their decisions as to who would be eliminated and who would become a part of the show. Before making the cuts, Jamie and Marc confer with Jennifer via phone over their decisions.

Angalee and Jonathan did not make the cut for the show.

Remolina Malambo and Musica Mya teamed up for a true cultural exchange. All but one of the groups made it to the show.

After a health scare and short rehearsals, Swing Latina decided to remain in their comfort zone…and while disappointing Marc and Jamie, the risk paid off. Swing Latina are a part of Q’Viva.

Jamie gathered all of the remaining performers to tell them about the next stage of the process. Previously the performers created their own routines, but after a night of fun, dancing, and love; the performers will have the next routines presented to them. The first challenge was to see how well the artists took direction.

Disaster struck the group again when Phillipe fell on his neck.

While the artists continue to practice, Jamie goes to check out the venu at Mandale Bay.

Phillipe returns to the compound, with no serious injury…only muscle tissue but he must take things easy for the day. But Phillipe has found love with one of the other artists – Monica. Marc helped the pair out so that they could go on a date.

Jennifer returns to join Marc and Jamie to see the final performances and make the more cuts for the show. Among those eliminated was Phillipe who was unable to perform due to his injury and after only a few days must leave his new girlfriend Monica who remains a part of the group staying on.

Next week it’s on to Las Vegas and the final cuts are made in preparation for the show.
