Finally, it is going to happen. Mitt Romney is about to clinch the Republican presidential nomination for the upcoming presidential election. He is hard working and his team has remained focused throughout the primaries in different states of the country. Analysts believe that if Mr. Romney succeeds in trouncing his rival, Rick Santorum, in Wisconsin on Tuesday, he would almost close the first phase of presidential election by clinching the GOP nomination. Indeed, it will be a great victory for Mr. Romney and his lobbyists, who have spent millions of dollars on primaries.

Analysts also believe that Mr. Romney would prove a tough candidate against President Barack Obama, who will be running for reelection. Mr. Romney has got multiple qualities to debate different issues with Obama and direct the public in his favor. The only thing that Mr. Romney should emphasize more is issues haunting the public and elaborate policies on them.

He must tell people why they should vote him into presidency and what positive changes will he bring in life of common US citizens. He must make people believe in his point of view. All of it can only be done if he appears before people well-prepared on different issues, from economy to health and education. Mr. Romney is also required to present a viable plan to improve job opportunities for youth and fresh graduates.

Mr. Romney should also be prepared for the propaganda campaign that can be unleashed against him during the election. He is a business tycoon with billions of dollars of investments in different national and multinational companies. GOP nomaination rivals of Romney also tried to undermine his reputation by using his personal wealth as propaganda against him but failed. The same propaganda campaign can spring up again during the election; therefore, he should be well prepared for it.

Mr. Romney seems to be lucky on yet another front, as he appears to have secured endorsement of elder George Bush for the upcoming election. Bush is expected to officially endorse his nomination for the election on Thursday in Houston. Definitely, the announcement by George Bush senior will create ripples in politics of the country.

Mr. Romney has close relations with the Bush family and some other members of the family are also likely to endorse his candidacy in the next couple of weeks or so. George W. Bush is also considering announcing support for Mr. Romney like his father. Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush also endorsed nomination of Romney a week ago after his victory in Illinois primary. Barbara Bush, the former first lady, has yet to formally endorse the nomination of Romney, but it should be noted that she has been campaigning for him.

The upcoming presidential election would surely be a delight for many in and outside the United States because Mr. Romney and Barack Obama both are considered to be well-articulated and staunch orators.
