As a society, we have the option of determining what is acceptable or not acceptable. We all say that racism is not acceptable. But is it? Do we say this out in the open, but behind the scenes do we make excuses and justify inappropriate behavior?
I have watched the video clip several times and I have to say... it appears to me that Mr. Santorum was definitely going to call President Obama the "N" word. Please decide for yourself. http://youtu.be/2OaBNOomwD0
This is inexcusable and should make us all stop and wonder, "What kind of message are these people sending to our children?" I do not want anyone to think this is acceptable and the only way I see that we can ensure this is to voice our opinions loud and clear that enough is enough! When political candidates for President that are represented as being spiritual leaders as well- they are held to a higher standard. They are expected to set the example of how to lead, communicate effectively and handle pressure. I believe Mr. Santorum has none of these qualities and is a disgrace to both his party and his church.
Mr. Santorum has serious issues. He apparently does not find it acceptable to allow boys playing with pink balls. Here is quoted saying, "You're not gonna use the pink ball. We're not gonna let you do that. Friends don't let friends use pink balls." I personally find this completely ridiculous. Does Mr. Santorum believe that only girls can bowl with a pink bowling ball? Can a man not wear a pink shirt? Pink is a color. Plain and simple.

After being asked by a New York Times reporter if he really said that "Mitt Romney is the worst Republican in the country", Mr. Santorum got irate and shouted "Quit distorting my words ... if I see it, it's bullsh*t"!"
Apparently Mr. Santorum forgot his Christian background in all three situations. Or did he? Is this a true representation of both ultra Christians and the Republican party? I am hoping this is not the case. I would hope that not only his party, but his fellow church members would call him on his behavior. I do not believe this will happen, because excuses are used instead of accountability. I am going to throw caution to the wind and hope that this man quietly slips into the background and we don't hear from him in the political arena again.
Now it is time for you to decide. Don't forget that you make this decision by casting your vote in November.
