Why All Canadians Need To Demand A New Election Regardless of Party

Citizens of Canada

There is a common human struggle around the world that has come to light in this last year as never before, and that is plight of the common man against government's corruption and moral bankruptcy. Whether it is in the USA, the Phillippines, Iceland, Greece, or even in our fair Canada, (to name just a few of the countries who have witnessed massive fraud and corruption in recent years), the story is always the same.

It is a story of greed, and of a deep lack of integrity from those in postions of power in governments around the world, be they dictatorships, democracies, oligarchies, fascist or socialist governments.

It is a story that has been told a million times over, as those who hunger for power and money continue to abuse their positions time and time again.

There is a sense of hopelessness one gets from witnessing this all-too-human tendancy to abuse power. One is left wondering....does absolute power corrupt absolutely? Or are those who seek power already corruptible by the very nature of their hunger for it?

We know the answer is likely a combination of both factors, but the fact remains that it is rampant, and it is shatteringly demoralizing to the regular, ordinarly, "little" people of the world.

One would almost feel powerless to stop this onslaught from these powermongers, this tyrannical oppression and control of the masses. One might even shrug one's shoulders, and tell oneself it is useless to fight it...

But that would be a defeatist attitude.

Did the people of Egypt and Tunisia shrug their shoulders?

Are the Tibetan monks giving up?

No they are fighting to this day against tyranny - even now in Egypt they fight, and the Tibetans are setting themselves on fire in what is the most shocking and deliberate act of protest against their fellow man's silencing of their voices.

They are prepared to die for their right to speak out!

This is precisely why Canadians need to stand up and speak out against the election fraud which has taken place in our unsuspecting midst.

The simple fact that our democratic process was tampered with, not only in the last election on an enormous scale, but even this last week during the NDP's voting process, should be reason enough to ring alarm bells loud and clear for every Canadian citizens, regardless of Party or affiliation.

Every honest decent Canadian has been duped.

Every Conservative voter should be morally outraged - their victory is a shallow empty one without the sanctity of an honest voting system.

Every Liberal and NDP voter, every Green Party voter, and voters for any and all other Parties, should share equally in disgust and anger regarding this theft, this intentional violation of the sanctity of our country's voting process.

It is in the best interest of all Canadians to loudly voice this disgust and outrage, and to call for a new Election...nay to demand one!

And that is why all Canadians are being called upon to attend tomorrow's rallies to do just that - to demand a fair and honest Election be held in this great country of ours.

We need to insist on it.

We simply must, as our civic duty, regardless of which party we support.

Because the moment we stop being vigilant, and allow this to be swept under the rug and minimized, is the moment we have lost the battle against a corrupt and corruptible Canada.

Somebody stole our votes. Somebody went to great trouble to do so. This means that our democratic process has been compromised.

This means that the winners in these compromised elections may not have won fairly. This means that policies and laws are being made by people who did not earn that right legally.

The democracy is therefore not truly a democracy - it has been hijacked by an elaborate and sinister plot to prevent voting.

Egyptians, Syrians, Tunisians, Tibetans, Bahranians are all DYING for the democracy that we are ALLOWING TO BE STOLEN FROM US!

Canadians - now is the time for you to stand up and be counted as honest, decent, and yes - passionate citizens who are willing to fight to preserve the integrity of this beautiful democratic country of ours....don't allow our democracy to be stolen away....or we may one day have to die fighting to get it back again...the time is now!

Stand on guard for Canada!

Please attend a national rally Sat. March 31st and demand a new election!

this is an amazing story that could just as easily been about the US. Since taking control of several state govt's, the conservative republicans have abused their power to push through anti voting laws. And these laws are not just stopping mew voters from registering, (league of women voter in FL has quit due to new unreasonable rules) it is preventing or restricting registered voters from casting future ballots.

You are right - people have to get angry and demand that the power mongers who want to cheat to win the next election be stopped.

Why is it that only the conservatives feel they have to cheat and block voting in order to win? Democrats have historically done the opposite by sponsoring 'get out the vote' drives.

I think the reason is that the conservative republicans are selling the ideology of the 1% against the 99%. Republicans can't win with that unless they cheat. If they win, they can sell out the public to the rich and strip away more middle class rights for environmental protection, worker safety laws, women's right, civil rights, and take away their health care and social security.

Conservatives do not believe in safety nets regardless of which words come out of their mouths. Their actions as views through the GOP budgets speak volumes. And they are all the same. None balance the budget, but all give more tax breaks to the rich and cut services to everyone else.

Yes, the US is just as corrupt as Canada, maybe even more.

Excellent and provocative report!

...and I love the Queen - good old Queenie as we call her! she's a real brick! honestly I have tremendous respect for her. I love the monarchs although some say they are evil! I think the Queen has done her duty to God and England admirably well - she represents the strength of British women to me, of which I am one.

Michelle yes, you need a new election in Canada in order for you to re-establish democratic processes that were overtaken by fraud. Election will once again, re-affirms that sovereignty resides in the people in Canada, not in the party in power or in Harper himself. Rate you up.

Michelle, there is corruption because there are those who consent to it by keeping silent. The corruptors are those who allow the commission of corruption. When majority of citizens denounce a public official who committed corruption, no one would dare to follow him.

yes I like that you said those who consent to it by keeping silent = when will Canadians get angry?

corruption and moral bankruptcy

So very well written - government's corruption is unavoidable, as they're all corruptible humans, but it certainly doesn't mean we should give up. Quite the opposite.
