A frustrated Cambodian father, 40, in the city of Battambang brutally punished his 13-year-old son for spending his day playing computer games instead of going to school by chaining him to a pole , reports Daily Mail.
Motorbike taxi driver Sok Thoeun was very upset with his son's behavior when he found him in internet cafe playing games and it was a school day , so he decided to punish his son in public by chaining him by the neck to pole
The 13-year-old released after two hours when neighbours spotted him and informed the police about the incident. the police said that the father is still on the run and according to the criminal law in Cambodia, he could be sentenced to 20 years in prison for committing violence and abuse against children , reports AFP.
"The father was so angry that he found his son at an Internet cafe instead of at school that he chained him up in public for people to see, to teach him a lesson,"Police spokesman Cheth Vanny told AFP.
