A sudden fire that broke out in the Pacific Pyro Co Ltd in Pattaya, Thailand, destroyed the factory which used to manufacture fireworks.

The factory situated 115-Km northeast of Bangkok employed 65-workers and it was fortunate that no one was present within the premises at the time.

People who stayed within a radius of 3-Km of the area have been evacuated.

As many as 20 fire engines rushed to the spot to battle the fire – they were able to bring it under control after a two hours struggle.

Preliminary investigations by the police have put it down as an accident.
