Controlling an ATV through Nokia smartphone

If a phone falls overboard , the company recommends putting it immediately into a jar with rice. It is being circulated as a method of internet myth, but apparently is effective for drying the mobile.

A smartphone submerged in water is the biggest nightmare for users, as to remove drops from inside the appliance is a difficult and often ends with the rupture of the device.

"Remove the battery and put to dry in the sun." "Use a hair dryer which is not very strong." "Pass a swab between the keys" . These are some of the phrases often heard before this accident.

But the advice most effective of all, judging by what Nokia shared on its website is that user should leave his phone in rice.

The company ran a full computer graphics with five steps in case a mobile fall into the water in a sink, toilet or is damp after a stormy day.

First, Nokia recommends, we must let the liquid drain off the phone. The longer it can be removed in this way, the better.

Second, we must remove the battery, memory card and the chip to prevent short circuits or further deterioration.

The third step is to dry the surface with a towel or cloth, never paper or an electric dryer, which could have an adverse effect.

Then, Nokia states that you must put the phone in a bag of rice, which must then be placed on a radiator and stay there at least overnight. The aim is to use as rice moisture absorbent that remained inside the device.

Finally, it remains to check the phone to work properly. As a bonus, it also suggests the usual: always have a backup of the contents to prevent loss of information to these drawbacks.

Can't say but it is the least information I got. Probably if the Mobile has fallen in dirty water then you should avoid thinking of eating those rice.
