The Trayvon Martin murder case viewed as without political bearing: A commentary

The Trayvon Martin Murder Case as read and viewed from different writers' points of view is just one of several muder cases that happened anywhere in America on same day. American media must have painted its political colors on it. The case has drawn much attention because of that color.

The family of Martin is the principal complainant over his death. The Martin family must be the one to file the case in U.S. court having jurisdiction on it.

The Ron Paul campaign has nothing to do with the case. This stance must be the firm and solid ground which makes Dr. Paul to remain silent about the case.

Martin's death cannot be construed as an act of racism. It is just one disgraceful event that took place during an election campaign season.

Bringing politics to Trayvon Martin's murder is certainly wrong. I can see an act of racism there, though. Not black vs white type of racism. As I mentioned on another forum, the murderer would probably react the same to a white guy with tattoos and piercings, for example. His prejudice and stereotypical thinking go way deep.
