Khloe Kardashian has announced that she has stopped supporting PETA due to the flour bombing incident that took place recently and in which Kim Kardashian got dosed with a flour bomb.
Khloe Kardashian is going all out in support of her sister, as she has announced that after Kim Kardashian's flour bombing incident, she will not be supporting PETA anymore. Last week, Kim Kardashian got flour bombed by a woman, who apparently has links to the animal rights organization.
Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to announce her decision and in her tweet she wrote, "Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior," the 27-year-old wrote Monday. "I've been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don't condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions -- I personally don't wear fur but that doesn't mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them."
Even though PETA released a statement immediately after the flour bombing incident to clarify that they had no links with the woman who was arrested, the Kardashians believe otherwise. That is the reason why Khloe Kardashian has dropped PETA from the list of non-profit organizations she supports.
Not only has Khloe Kardashian denounced PETA, she has even expressed her pride over the way her sister, Kim Kardashian, handled the entire situation. Khloe tweeted, "I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week's incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie!"
"We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won't be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise."
Before this incident, Khloe Kardashian was an avid supporter of this organization and she even posed nude for PETA in 2008 in one of their campaigns titled "Fur? I'd Rather Go Naked".
Apparently, Kim Kardashian is also not taking this flour bombing incident lightly. She has said that she will be suing the woman who threw flour on her.
