And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

-- Gen. 28:15 (KJV)

There are five specific blessings in this verse that God gives to Jacob. If you are a believer, then these five things are advantages that you have upon this earth as well.

1. God is with you. It doesn't matter if the entire world turns their back against you. It doesn't matter if your friends stab you in the back. God is with you. You don't need anyone else. God is with you.

2. God will keep you. If you follow God, then He will protect you from all harm.

3. God will bring you back again. This blessing is talking about restoration. God will restore you.

4. God will not leave you. If God is with you, then He also promises that He will not abandon you. Your family and friends could leave you, but God will not forsake you when you continue to believe in Him.

5. God will perform what He has spoken over your life. When God says that He is going to do something for you, then He sticks it out with you until that promise becomes manifest within your life. At the same time, you must continue to believe what He has said to you.

Numerical Analysis: The numerical pattern for this verse is 1,6,7,2,8,5. (1) Follow God in order to be abundant. (6) To expose evil, focus. (7) To be complete, realize that God is with you at all times. (2) Walk in God's kingdom so that He will protect you upon this earth. (8) Choose to have a new beginning in God so that He will restore you. (5) Stay in God's presence because He will not forsake you.
